Hip dysplasia is an abnormality on the hip joint which could lead to crippling lameness and arthritis. The cats mostly afflicted with hip dysplasia are usually males with the larger, huge-boned breeds which include Persians and Maine Coons. The comparatively smaller sizing and excess weight of cats
